Digital Photography (Megapixel Myth) *added link*

Since I always have people asking me on which megapixel suits them the most when they are buying their cameras, and that i had stumbled onto this very nice preview on what you should actually be looking for when buying a digital camera, I think this will be a good read for a lot of you out there...

Megapixel Myth (Computerworld)
Wired News: You Need More Megapixels?

Talking about camera... geez... I have to save up money for my next one already... mine is already in the graveyard... My next target? Canon Powershot A710 or Canon Digital Rebel XT350 SLR. For for those who kept on pestering me on why I don't want a smaller camera, it's because my hands are super shaky, and so, it's better off that I get one which is more comfortable to hold...

That's all for today...c'ya all later...

Journey called Life... (Part 35: Religious Bashing)

With all the religious bashing that happens all over the world right now, i think this article comes at the right time. It's time we put our differences to rest and learn to love each other all the same. Although this articles specifically refers to the christians, but i think the underlying arguments do apply to buddhists, muslims, and hindus as well...

Enjoy

Life~

I think a person should have a right to end their life if they want, but I think it would be a great mistake. However bad life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. While there is life, there is hope.

New Templates

As you all might had seen now, I had upgraded this blog to a new templete signalling my transition into Google Blogger Beta. The reason is that i want to start taking advantage of the new features within it.

As of now, i am still trying to make sense out of the various new elements in the new template. Therefore, the full functionality of this blog won't be restored to it's original functionality until a later undetermined date. Your patience is fully appreciated.

[EDIT]The Chatterbox is functional again, but am not able to implement the google search box properly yet. Anyway, i will continue editing the templete tomorrow :)[/EDIT]

Journey called LIfe... (Part 34: Durian Runtuh)

Within this page that i had skimmed through just now, is a story of money falling down from the sky...
Which probably shows that, if you got something for free, you will probably won't know how to appreciate it...

Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn

After going back to stable softwares for a while (somehow almost all of the beta softwares that i had mentioned earlier got released at almost the same time), I am back to the beta testing field. This time, my victim, err, cross that, subject will be the next version of Ubuntu Linux, version 7.04 (Feisty Fawn).

Ever since the very first version of Ubuntu that I had used, i've loved it. It's very user friendly (if you can get yourself used to the idea of using the terminal (for windows users: DOS prompts), and i love the way of configuring and installing softwares.. it's just flawless.

I might write later about installing and configuring linux. So read on, guys ;)
